Jaeger von Rotfarbe is a stunning 2 year old black and red German Shepherd. Jaeger is a beauty in the making - he needs to gain about 20 pounds to look his best, but even in his present state, we can tell he's a well bred dog with great confirmation. We think he should weigh around 85-90 pounds at his ideal weight so he's a good sized boy. He has a tattoo in his ear which can usually be traced back to his breeder. How does a handsome boy like this end up at a shelter? He walks so well on leash, just trots by your side. He doesn't seem to be fazed by much and shares his run with Sam, the long haired shepherd girl. He knows his sit command and meets other dogs well. We were able to talk to the people who gave Jaeger up. His original name is Saro. He lived in a home with children 1 year and 5 years old. He lived with another male German Shepherd. The family moved to a place that didn’t allow pets. We promised Jaeger that we will find him a family who makes him a priority.
